Breathe recently hosted a celebration event to say thank you to staff and volunteers who play a vital role in delivering its youth clubs in Bream and mentoring programme for young people across the Forest of Dean. We are very grateful to Liz and Martin Spoor for being superb hosts.
The evening began with a welcome activity and drinks, followed by a meal and a brilliant quiz. It was a lovely evening enjoyed by everyone.
Breathe relies on a dedicated team of volunteers to run its weekly youth clubs which provide a safe, welcoming space where young people can build confidence, take part in a range of activities and connect with peers. Volunteers also play a key role in our mentoring programme, by providing one‑to‑one support to young people facing challenges, helping them to build confidence, feel better about themselves and empowering them to make positive changes.
We welcome new volunteers and encourage anyone passionate about supporting young people to get involved.
