How does mentoring work?

If you have been referred to our mentoring service you will be visited by our Mentor Coordinator who will talk to you and your parent/carer about the service and you will have the chance to ask questions about how it will work. You will then be matched with a suitable mentor.

You will have your mentor for at least 12 months and they will meet with you for 1-2 hours, usually every week. Its important to meet with your mentor regularly as this will give you both the chance to get to know each other and build trust.
